The words Nike and Football go hand in hand as it is the sport’s most dominating company, and this year they unveil a Football app that will be all you need to serve ypur foodtball hunger. With the domestic football season in its initial stage, Nike Football launches a new digital and mobile application that will feature the best of the world’s leading football brand in one place.
What does the app do?
The Nike Football app lets you create matches, banter with your friends and teammates, and also be the first one with access to exclusive Nike products. And, that’s not it. The app also functions as a gateway to the professional game through the Nike Academy in the U.K. for young players, based at St. George’s Park National Football Centre — which gives its players a route to the pro game through fixtures against leading clubs.
The Nike Football app will be your only gateway to the Nike Academy, and will enable you to register for every Nike Academy-related trial events.
The Crew feature
The app allows you to create your own micro-communities with the “Crew” feature, that lets you stay connected to your friends and teammates and make sure they never miss a chance to play. Using the “Play” section, members can set up a time and location for a game or kick-about and track who is in with the geo-tracking technology.
It also comes with custom emojis within the chat thus extending the dressing room camaraderie.
The Nike Football app is available from July 10 on iOS and Android.
